We will be joining several other area churches for a special community Thanksgiving service to be held at Parkers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Kingsport on Tuesday evening, November 26, at 7:00 p.m.  There will be special singing, and Rev. Jim McComas, CEO of Free Will Baptist Family Ministries, will be preaching.  A free will offering will be taken to support Family Ministries.  Refreshments will be served after the service.  Please join us for this special night of worship, thanksgiving, and fellowship.

We are continuing our tradition of cancelling our service on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, as many people are cooking, traveling, or otherwise preparing for the holiday.  Therefore, we will have no services on Wednesday evening, November 27.

The sermon from Sunday, November 10, has been added to the Sermons 2024 page.  Pastor Josh continued his new sermon series on things to “ponder in our hearts” during the Christmas season.  This week’s message is entitled “When a Faithful Man Can’t Believe.”

Our Video of the Month page has been updated for November.  As we enter the Thanksgiving holiday season, we need to remember most of all to be thankful for our salvation.  The southern gospel group Brian Free & Assurance reminds us of this with a song entitled “Grateful For The Gospel.”

Fellowship Church would like to extend a warm welcome to our new pastor, Rev. Josh McKinney.  Pastor Josh grew up in our church and eventually felt the call to ministry.  He left us to become pastor at another church, where he served faithfully for the past nine years.  Now he is coming home to lead us here at Fellowship!  We are excited to have him back and are looking forward to seeing how the Lord will use Josh as he leads us!
